The Inaugural Community Harvest Festival in Tennessee
It’s almost Halloween and that means a fun filled day, and night, at the Clifton Marina & RV Park. With activities for, “Kids,” of all ages, the inaugural Clifton Community Harvest Festival starts at 10:00 am and is sure to become an annual favorite for both locals and visitors.
What to expect from the Community Harvest Festival
There will over 50 vendors participating in the inaugural Community Harvest Festival in Clifton TN., with this new event brought to you by the Clifton Marina & RV Park.
Vendors to watch for include Set N Stone, Chic by the River, Craft Crazy by Debbie, Indian Creek Engraving and Gifts, Southern Grace Jewelry, Hank Ivey Chainsaw Carver and the Wood Weaver. Also headed to the festival will be Hippie Dippie, the Needle Threading Sisters, and Handmade with Hope.
Vittles and More Vittles at the Clifton Community Harvest Festival
Bring your appetite for some good old-fashioned southern cooking. With chicken hot off the grill from the Clifton Fire Department, Wayne County Helping Hands, Cheese Cakes by Terri, Riches Health Foods. Mrs. B’s Sweet Butters and Treats, and the TN River Pirates you certainly won’t go hungry.
Activities for the kids include pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, bounce houses with an inflatable obstacle course, and the C & L Petting Zoo. However, it’s not just the harvest festival that the Clifton Marina & RV Park has on hand for Halloween.
The Clifton Marina Restaurant and Bar on Halloween
Stick around after the Community Harvest Festival and head over to the Clifton Marina Restaurant and Bar which is literally a stone’s throw away from the festival. Be a pirate for the night and wear your finest or throw on a costume and howl at the full moon. It's going to be the party of the year and you don't want to miss out.
Have a bite to eat and get ready to dance the night away to the sounds of the Steel 6 Band with special guest star
Ron Katt. Halloween is also the Grand Finale to the preliminary costume competitions that have been happening every Saturday night in October.
There is always a great crowd of locals and visitors ready to tell a story and share the dance floor and this Saturday is certainly no exception.
Mark Your Calendars for the Clifton Community Harvest Festival
This Halloween be a part of the Clifton Community Harvest Festival and something new that is sure to be an annual event for years to come and don’t forget, All Hallows Eve happens to be a full moon this year, something that you won’t see again until 2039.
The festivities start at 10:00 am and run until 5:00 pm with the Clifton Restaurant and Bar taking it over for the night until the competition is over and the dancing stops.
